The interest of humanitarian logistik is, we never know when humanitarian logistic will happen. Because we never know when nature disaster come. We can only prepare how handling logstick when the disaster come.

Indonesia is located in the ring of fire. Indonesia and Indonesia located in the meeting of 3 plates. That's why many nature disaster happened in Indonesia such as earthquake, volcano, etc. In Indonesia, 3 SR of earthquake usually happen and it is not felt for people because this SR is small. Usually, 4-5 SR is felt by people and the building not stable. Why it is always happen? Because the plates of earth always move each other.Because of that Humanitarian Logisics is importance in Indonesia.  But the benefit of volcano disaster is land fertility happen.

Logistic are divided by three. There are military logistics, humanitarian logistics and commercial logistics.
In humaiarian logistic there are three steps
  • Preparation Stage
  • Response Stage 
  • Reconstruction Stage
  • Rehabilitation Stage
In Humanitarian Logistics, volunteers are very important. Because people in the place of affected by disaster are very shock and there is so many damage in that place, like house, road, bridge, etc. Usually after the earthquake the road was cut off and cars can't through the road. For example, in Palu. After the BNPB arrived in airport in Palu there was  no ground handling to move the goods from plane to warehouse. So volunteers are very important. The volunteers move the goods manually using the power of human.
Dra dewi said, if you want to donated items, please buy new ones. Or donate the items in good conditions.

The technical implementation of logistics management and disaster equipment
  • Needed Inventory : Food, clothes, blanket, first aid kit, mat, etc
  • Procurement : Using inventory from warehouse using DSP (Dana Siap Pakai)
  • Warehousing : Decide the place, people, warehouse managment
  • Distribution : Decided distance, type of transportation, time delivery, fast access 
  • Transportation : Bring the goods from warehouse to destination
  • Deletion : Delete the goods which is expired or damage

Strategi Pembangunan Transportasi Laut Terminologi What Strategi Why How CIF (Cost,Insurance,Freight) CIF adalah eksportir yang membayar semua biaya pengiriman termasuk biaya asuransi didalamnya.
